One of many of the Yokozuna franchises, Alexander Pollock was commissioned for the interior design of the new outlet in the QV shopping centre in the heart of the Melbourne CBD. The brief was to achieve a rustic street ramen shop front reminiscent of those you find in Japan. Corrugated roofing were given a special rust treatment to achieve a weathered look, whilst hand assembled thatched timber panels adorned the façade of the shop giving a truly tactile and multi-dimensional aesthetic.
